  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Genesis Free NACS Adapter Thread: Post Your Updates

Was the email from Genesis or was it a USPS Informed Delivery/Expected Delivery email? I received a USPS Expected Delivery email for something coming from Denver Colorado but there is no information about who the shipper is.
It only took 2.5 days from the creation of the label until they handed it off to the USPS..... And it shows Palatine, IL as others have reported in past groups of these.

The email I received is from Genesis with a link to USPS tracking that is still showing pre-ship information and not telling me the origin yet. I also use informed delivery and it is showing in the "awaiting from sender" section of my daily digest. Hopefully I will get more clarity from USPS today.
The first shipping email I got was from Genesis with a USPS tracking #. It took about a day and a half for the USPS site to update to being accepted at the Palatine, IL Distribution Center (first entry).

Alright folks, after 6 months of waiting I have finally received the Genesis NACS shipping notification with a tracking number that hasn't updated yet.

I guess it serves me right being last (or nearly last) after I started this update thread and clearly angered the gods...

Fingers crossed I finally make it over the finish line sometime soon.

I see the notification but somehow I don't believe it just yet. Nowhere in any of the Genesis emails has my shipping address been confirmed so who knows where this package is going.Screenshot 2025-10-10 at 3.46.29 PM.webp

I'm in a similar situation and my tracking info finally updated to show an estimated October 14 delivery. Mine appears to be coming from Phillipsburgh, NJ.

Have you noticed that the remaining battery icon in the drivers display is all of a sudden much more vibrant green?

That is about the only change I've noticed.
I’m glad I’m not the only one that noticed that.

Also they battery percentage is now not as well lined up with the drivers display battery icon anymore.

The other change is the settings icon next to the check box for include charging stations in maps. It lets you get quick access to customizing that. But no other real changes that I have seen. Still no ability to set arrival SOC.

Well, that was a difficult 6 month process. The first "over delivery" is that my tracking said Tuesday and the USPS beat their estimate and delivered today.

And for those tracking batch dates, this one shows. Clearly not a particularly new batch.

The exact same thing happened to me. Unexpectedly received the package yesterday and was expected on October 14th.

Really happy to bring this 6 month journey to a close. The adapter seems well built, if not comically large. Glad to see Genesis is giving us a 5 year warranty on it, although given how long it has taken to manufacture enough of these to just meet demand of existing owners, I cringe at how long a replacement adapter might take.

All that said, I hope to not have to use this any time soon, but having access to the Tesla network will take some of the stress out of traveling.

Thank God! Is there anyone left? I assume a few stragglers still

Still waiting. Have an open case number. But no notifications. Beginning to feel like it's time to give up

Got mine a few months ago, but finally tried it out. Flawless. Very expensive electricity from Tesler, but good to know it's there if needed.
