  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

The car will debut in December, so it is a done deal (but not the artist version, the real pics).

Re: G90 - uncovered

Not bad... I'll be anxious to see one in person.

Except for the taillights, it looks to me like a stretched Genesis (probably because it is a stretched Genesis).

I prefer the overall proportions/lines of the "unstretched" Genesis. Not sure about the headlights either - the DRL's look a tad busy? Will need to see better pics from other angles...

I'm not going to lie - I love it. To me, that's a great looking big luxury sedan. Now I wonder what the inside looks like.

now i'm curious about the interior from the dash to the seats...!

Exactly. And I know where Nikgen is coming from where it's not as edgy or aggressive as the sketches - but most cars never are. I think the G90 is VERY classy looking and one of the better looking full size premium luxury sedans available. I bet the inside is going to be the icing on the cake. I'm so proud of Hyundai right now.

I don't know why anyone would look at the sketches (artist renderings). The real photos are available on the links above, although admittedly not a lot of them.

Geez - I was commenting that the actual car that we NOW have real photos of (and that I posted the links to) looks less agressive than the sketches that we previously saw (BEFORE we had actual photos). Is someone making that comparison so hard to understand?

I was referring to this post immediately above mine, which seemed to be referring to the artist renderings:

I am not a huge fan of the front of the 2015-16 Genesis, but to me it looks similar to the 2017 Genesis G90 (Equus). So I was assuming that maybe some were looking at the artist renderings when they criticized the front of the 2017 Genesis G90 (Equus).

I agree about the DRLs in the headlights being too busy. This seems to be a trend in the past couple of years. On the other hand, I like the way lines in the taillights merge and flow into the body line on the side of the car.

I'm also looking forward to seeing the interior. I expect it'll be similar to the Genesis, but with higher quality materials in some areas (e.g. full leather dash) and the option for the full rear seat entertainment/controls.

Interior has elements of Audi which is a great thing IMO. Trying to locate the picture on clublexus.

Side shot looks like the entire body needs to be shifted to the front by 6 inches. Front end looks stubby like how a cartoon character looks when they get hit in the face with a shovel.

Was hoping for more aggressive look like in the artist sketches. Just have to wait and see one in person.

Why is it that sketched cars never come out looking the same way? The sketched version made me get excited, now I'm just like "OK" nice but nothing revolutionary.

A lot of cars are getting this stubby look in the front. I believe it has something to do with European pedestrian safety regulations.

interior shots.. sort of

It's looking very good!

Artists tend to over-exaggerate. Perhaps they're asked to do that.
