Hey guys, can I get some clarification on 'died' here. I've had two issues prior to today when I'd get in the vehicle and it was like the battery had been disconnected. HUD or dash brightness reset to max, trip odometer reset, etc..
Today, I went out to the car, unlocked it, hopped in and hit the start button. In the middle of the start-up sequence, the who car went dead. It was like the battery was disconnected altogether. No a single electrical system had power. I opened the trunk (manually) and started wiggling connections to the battery. I don't know if I moved anything (nothing felt like it moved), and I noticed the car was back on. We went for lunch, parked, got out, closed the door, and the car wouldn't lock with the button on the door handle. A moment later, it was fine. Third event was similar to the second. Each time, HID display brightness to full, heater controls reset to Farenheit instead of celcius. I know the Genesis Coupe guys are having random problems with the engine dying, but the electrical continues to function.
It really does sound like a ground issue. Does anyone have info on that TSB?
