  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I decided to swap out my front parking wedge bulbs to LED bulbs as well as the reverse wedge bulbs to LED bulbs.

Did you use Diodedynamics for all LED hardware?
I like them and have used them before too but I did get quite a bit of discount at PrecisionLED so I went with it this time and I'm glad I did.
Here is what mine looks like:

Here is what mine looks like:

Only the turn signals.

A friend of mine gave the front wedge bulb and rear led bulb at no cost. They're a generic brand and are not very bright during the day but still brighter than the OEM bulbs.

Here's a picture of the reverse leds on the backup camera:

Did you have to remove the trunk liner to get access or just the corner behind the light? I was looking for a write-up or picture, but couldn't find one...

Yes and no or sort of.
By that I mean by removing all the attaching screws and then loosen up the trunk liner enough to allow enough clearance for your hand (mine is small) to get behind the reverse light housing which is located at either side of the edge of trunk lid.
I used PrecisionLED which is super bright. :)

A friend of mine installed these for me when we were getting the LED turn signals installed.
He removed a few screws from the trunk liner (didn't completely remove it) which was just enough for him to slide his hand inside and reach the bulbs. If i were to do it, I would remove the trunk liner due to the hassle of trying to reach in there.

Spot on with what we did!

Do you know where I can get the ones you got from?

Here you go: http://www.diodedynamics.com/store/...n/2009-2013-hyundai-genesis-sedan-backup-leds

Well, I finally got around to putting in my LED backup lights. The lights are in the trunk lid, and you pretty much have to remove the inside liner. I started with the screw in the pull down handle, everything else were these little plastic fasteners. I included a picture of the original bulb hanging from the lid, and then the replacement LED. I included a picture where only the passenger light was replaced, the driver side is still the original, to try to show the difference. I'm not sure the camera does it justice, but to the human eye, the LED is noticably whiter, and the original bulb looks yellow in comparison. The last picture is all done!
