  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

"15 great cars for daily driving
Hyundai Genesis
Price: $34,200
Mileage: 18 mpg city/28 mpg highway/22 mpg combined

When weighing competing factors while car shopping, compromise doesn't always yield the most exciting solution. That's not the case with the V6-powered Hyundai Genesis. A fun car to drive with plenty of pep — 333 horsepower — it also offers a lot of perks found in higher-priced sedans for thousands less. A 10-year, 100,000-mile warranty lets you breathe a little easier as you tick off miles in traffic, too."

Hooray but sadly that 10yr/100k warranty is a lot of smoke and mirrors. I purchased a nearly 100% inclusive extended warranty for my RSpec. Way too much electronics in this car.

That's great, Shellback :D

Not that you'd know it from all the whining and over-dramatized complaints from Genesis owners on the forums who expect a $30-40k car and its dealer to be exactly the same as a $120k+ luxury brand with decades of high-end experience behind it ;)

I'm VERY happy with my R-Spec Coupe. At 21,000 miles in a year-and-a-half and with the full racing model, I've had no problems other than paint chips from the very hard paint and loose glue on the wing badging. I've even still got the free "trial" of XM going, somehow. Whoo hoo!

That's the oddest group of 15 great cars that I've seen in a long time. Still, glad we made it.

Agreed. It's nice to drive something that's fun, great looking, and is less intimate with your dealer, mechanic or credit card than you.

Almost 2 years and 30K miles of a lot of hard driving and still no issues. Lovin every bit of it. :)

PMC I have to agree, a strange lot indeed.

Great quote :)

Oh, and I didn't see before the Coupe is listed as well, but with no description. The list is mostly understandable, for daily drivers.
