I'm DEF interested depending on price ...

And unless programmer alters the GENESIS' programming - other than by just adding an additional "fob" - can anyone see an issue arising with Hyundai if one has LEASED rather than BOUGHT car?

How and why would Hyundai doesn't like that's strange ? And how would they find out about it?
He offered to cut, but I refuse, I already have 2 FOB keys with cut keys inside.

The guy on eBay told me that he gets directly from MOBIS, and he has to have account with one of the local service stations to get a discount, there is no other way to buy them over the net, or something.

Price of what? Programming or the card price?
It might depend of the dealer, but I see no reason why wouldn't he do that.
It's done not by dealer, but the tech service manager. He didn't charge me anything, I promised next time I come to bring some nice quality scotch whiskey

I don't see the way they would find out that you got the card programmed.

Many dealers will simply not have anything to do with any part you did not get from them.

If yours has no problem doing it then you are all set. I would want to verify mine will before I buy it.

Which kinda makes sense but in this case they cannot even get the part for you even if they wanted to. I see no problem asking your dealership to program this accesssory which is an original Hyundai part by the way simply not available in the US. I am sure they will be glad to do it for you and as shown here was even done for free as a service however I would expect them to charge a slight fee for this.

Anyone worried about leaving the card with a valet? I valet at least once a week and it seems like every place uses key chain hooks to hold keys. I'm not sure how they would keep track of this, unless they used a rubber band around it.

Keep the standard key fob in trunk or glove box to give to valets?

Never use a valet so never thought about that one but good point. Me just common folk, can't afford the valet style. It's not like you can keep a spare fob in the glove box either is it? Guess one could get a lead lined box to store it in the glove box a la Superman Kriptonite.
