OK, good to know. 1st things 1st I guess, have to get the card. Was there ever any inroads made on doing a group buy?
So is everyone that has one getting it from the genuine mobis parts seller on Ebay? $250...

same here. got to me in 2 days. I'm still looking to see if i can find a dealership that can cut the key. Does anyone think about contacting a Hyundai dealership in Canada to see if they can do it maybe by mail. I wouldn't know if that would be a possibility.
Some additional information for everyone. I'm at my dealer right now getting the key card programmed and they couldn't figure it out at first. When looking at the keycard there is an "Arrow" on it on the back. The arrow needs to be facing/pointing towards the "Start/stop" button while they are doing the programming steps. Once they figured that out it took the programming successfully. Just an update in case any others dealers get "Stumped".I got my FOB programmed today. I took all three FOBs to make sure they all worked afterwards. My dealer also had the problem some others had and couldn't cut the key because it wouldn't fit in their machine, but please note that the key had to be in the FOB for it to program correctly (they tried it with the key portion missing and it didn't seem to take). Now all three FOBs work and I'm happy! They charged me $45 and were super cool about being willing to try it (I was their first person). I told them I'd be back with the KDM lights when they arrive.
One thing they told me about the 2015 Genesis when they were changing my oil (which I also had done today) is that for them to change the oil they have to remove like 14 screws to remove the underbody cover.

Did the dealer have the Shims or did you get them from somewhere? How many?I got my Genesis 2015 V8 Ultimate in December. I purchased the Smart Key Card from eBay (http://stores.ebay.com/genuine-mobis-parts?_trksid=p2047675.l2563) They are the real deal. Brandon helped me get another pull out key when trial and error took place at my locksmith. I took my key to get programmed at my dealer, which went just fine. Bring all the FOB's, so they will workThe locksmith that worked on my deal is Michael's Keys Inc in Colleyville (817) 581-8992, so if you are in the Dallas/Fort Worth area of Texas, they can get it done. It took them a while to figure out, but as relayed in a previous post, some shims to align it up correctly did the trick. They did it on the second try and now know they can do it. I just wanted to relay that it is possible
The key a whole works great. I haven't run into any problems with remote portion, nor physical. I love it.

The locksmith handled it (they had some things in their shop). The key provided is thinner and wider than the standard FOB, so the shims helped line the cut up correctly. You can reach out to Michaels Keys (info provided in my previous post) and ask for Zach if I am correct. He might answer your questions. A good locksmith should be able to figure it out if you give them an ideaGood Luck.
Thanks for the tip Forty! I can confirm that Michael's Keys can do the job. I took my credit card FOB in to have them cut it, and it took all of about 15 minutes. Pretty friendly shop. The guy even walked out to my car with me to confirm that it worked on my car. Definitely recommended!
