If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Genesis-Specific Rubber Floor Mats?

Glad to hear that the Lloyds product is an overall improvement, Dave. For my part, I'm still waiting for mine to arrive. Auto Anything charged my Visa for the mats on 11/20, and just today, I finally got an e-mail indicating they'll ship between 12/2 and 12/4. Hmmm...

But I'll just be happy to get 'em, as we picked up a couple of inches of snow yesterday, and more is sure to come!

By the way, the Lloyd's mats fit very well, the custom shape is dead on.

I have had the Lloyd's mats in for two months now. They work great. They are not rubber, but are a rubbery-vinyl type of material.

I seldom have anyone sit in the back so I haven't looked but I found that my good old Pants Saver mats fit the front of the Genesis perfectly. All I had to do was drill a hole into them for the little stud to go through and keep them in place like the stock mats and cut a one inch strip off the top of the driver-side mat so it doesn't interfere with the gas pedal. They're just the right width and lenght to cover the whole footwell area.

They're really the best kind of mats out there for areas where there's a lot of snow as their grooves are deep and really keep the melted snow off your shoes/pants.

One thing I forgot to inquire about at the dealer is the availability of custom-fit rubber floor mats. As a northerner, I generally yank the fabric floor mats and run most of the year with Weather Techs or something equivalent, but I suspect that Genesis is just too new for Hyundai to offer a customized set of mats (hell, they're struggling just to get the cars into the showrooms!).

I suppose I could use a generic set for now, but if anyone has stumbled across some waterproof mats that are designed for Genesis, I'd love to hear about it.

I always buy rubber floor mats for my cars, rubber for everyday use, carpet mats for hot dates. I only buy the mats from the dealership because I want mats made for my car, not interested in 3rd party aftermarkets.

I called Automax Hyundai Oklahoma City today, they didn't have any in stock, the store rep called Hyundai - they told her that none are available yet.

I still can't decide if I want the v8 or v6, so I asked about the wood grain steering wheel should I buy the v6 -- the cost? $1410.00

I know that they mentioned Weather Tech not having those mats for the Genesis, but they are available now and they look really good in the Genesis and at 99.95 plus shipping it's well worth the money.

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
I just received the Genesis Floor Mats from Weathertech. The rear set work very well. The front passenger is right on, but the driver side seems about 1.5 inches too narrow. I am still happy with my purchase (175 Cdn w/shipping), but think they could have done a bit better with sizing (and I am picky!!).

Do the weathertech mats have the Genesis logo? Do they have that button snap to hold the mat in place? thanks!

So anyone having luck finding thick rubber floor mats for the Genesis?

Edit: I also called WeatherTech and they DO NOT have custom fit rubber floor mats for the Genesis. They give you a close match, but nothing custom.

I bought both the back and front all-weather custom mats from Pugi Hyundai in Downers Grove last weekend. They have Hyundai part numbers and state plainly on the packaging 2009 Hyundai Genesis Sedan (they didn't change anything for 2010 that affects these floormats).

I read through this thread and wasn't sure after following some of the posted links if this was fully explained. There are available Hyundai all-weather matts and they look great and snap right in! They may be OEM'ed WeatherTech, but I'm not sure. The matts do have the name Genesis embedded in the design and it looks very nice!

Check out Sams club, I bought a set front&back, for $19.99!! They are very close to custom, they fit wall to wall, deep groves, rasied edges. come in 3 colors. They are a fantastic buy, just like the Genesis.

I'm looking for the custom fit, but the OEM Genesis mats look very shallow and cheap. Up here in New England we need the deep grooves for mud and snow. Do you think the Genesis mats will handle this?

OK, from what I understand is that there are no aftermarket winter floor mats available that are 100% custom fit. They say they fit the Genesis but they are really only of similar shape.

Hyundai makes all weather mats for the Genesis and would like to get some real world feedback to see if they are worth the money and actually do the job. I'm more concerned with the product doing the job its suppose to.

I bought CLEAR (see through) floor mats which are called pant shavers from Canadian Tire for about forty dollars for the front and back. They are nice because you can see what is under the mats, ie Genesis and the colour of your particular carpet type mats.
