  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hi all, I will be an owner of a new 2010 Tech V8 in or around March - will detail the car with wings trunk/hood/steering wheel/hub caps.

I am guessing when you start the Gen the Hyundai sign will come onto the Nav system as part of the start up. I am guessing! If so, is it possible to have a different start up on the nav screen? If not, I can easily live with it.

I would love to be able to keep the Genesis sign on the screen, but no can do.

Perhaps when a new DIS update comes out.

Welcome to the Genesis, I'm sure you'll love it. Unfortunately, there seems to be no way to change the default screen. I've said before that there should be a "home" screen that's attractive and offers more info. The info screen is as close as it gets.

speaking of this...is there a way to disable the warning screen that comes up each time you start it? I know all you have to do is push the button, but it would be nice if the warning screen could be disabled.

I guess that's what happens when you live in such a litigious society...You have to force feed all kinds of warnings so that the one idiot that tries driving his car while using the nav screen will have less of a leg to stand on in court.

Exactly. Thanks for the link....
Hey, aren't you the one that designed some type of diode or something that would allow us to use our fog lights without the headlamps? It's been a while since I read that thread, but your name rings a bell in it's regard.

It's possible. I'll do a little digging to find out.
