Genesis V6 Car Cover/Mats

Hey guys,
Just got a new 3.8L "base" Genesis (2012) two days ago and I'm loving it. I was wondering if any of you could recommend a good car cover, rubber mats and a grip for the steering wheel?

Just wondering but what would you do for a thin (but visible) scratch on the driver's side of the front bumper? Is there something I can do for that? I don't remember how it could have been scratched because the scratch is to the left of the front left wheel - maybe the scratch was there before I got the car...

I bought a set of WeatherTech Extreme-Duty DigitalFit Floor Liners from auto anything. At www.autoanything.com . They have several different model mats for the Hyundai Genesis. What I liked about the mats is that they were made precisely to fit my 2011. Jenny and they also offer rear seat mats and a cargo mat for the trunk.

I’ve been trying to get these front mats for the longest time. Last time I contacted Autoanything they said they only had the DigitalFit mats for the 2009/20110 models with the single anchor hole. So even though prior posts stating that the single hole mats work fine on the two hole model I’m reluctant to purchase till the two hole models are (if ever) available. Did you get the front two anchor hole model ?

No I got the single hole mats and they work fine. I was waiting for the 2011 two hole mats, like you for sometime. I even went to the www.weathertech.com site and filled out a form to notify me when the mats went into production. Since the factory embossed mats are $100 for the pair I can live with one hole to protect them.

Kinda strange that Weather Tech starts in the trunk engineering and producing the mats and works to the front. I would think the greater demand would be for front mats. The good news is that Weather Tech is producing the rear seat mats now and maybe the front mats aren't to far in the future.

FYI, be careful with Weathertech. I purchased the all weather car "mats" (not liners) for two of my cars and they fit like a glove. Last month I purchased mats (on line) for my VW Passat and they fit worse than what you would get at Pep Boy's. When I spoke with customer service, they said that some of the matts are not custom fitted and they instead send out generic mats that are "supposed" to be a close fit. They don't let you know if they are sending custom fit or generic. They did take the mats back but I had to pay to ship them back. I ended up with Costco mats for $15 that fit a lot better than the $70 Weathertech mats.

Truth be told I also got stuck with those mats. Because they were supposed to be for the Genesis Sedan. I just gave up and kept them after talking to them. I can live with the rears but the fronts didn't have any anchor holes. To this day my wife hates them they're always shiting. So I think I'll replace the fronts as long as I know they at least have one anchor hole that matches.
Then I can put that phase of my life over with.

Just received front "All Weather Mats" for my 2012 (two snaps on drivers side) Genesis. $62.65 from Gary Rome Hyundai (On line Accessory Store)in MA. Made by Hyundai. Just what the Dr. ordered.

You were right they fit and look beautiful. Glad I waited for these Weathertech Digital fit. That one hole lined up perfect didn't even need the use of the 2nd anchor hole cause they fit so snug. Great mats.
