  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Genesis VS Lexus ES

IMO, t is about the least useful cargo net I've had. If you have a box or two it can hold them down, but do nothing for some items that would easily fit in a cradle type holder. Don't forget about the bag hooks though. Easily missed and forgotten about.

I'm using VW cargo management set like this: https://www.ebay.ca/itm/VW-CarGo-Ma...cks-Loks-Gorilla-Gear-Volkswagen/253448680914 Two in the left niche and two in the right creating nice compartments for bottles and other small objects on the sides. These attach perfectly to the Genesis OEM 2-side cargo liner with the fabric side facing up. And you can create any shapes with velcro strips at the bottom of the holders.

Thanks for the suggestion, I know about the foldable bag hanger and use it all the time. All measures combined work pretty well for me.

Yet my attention was drawn to the post above that stated that manual describes several positions for the cargo net. I was able to find just one. Of course, you can attach 2 loops to one hook and another 2 to the other one, creating a net bag to avoid, say, balls rolling over your trunk, but it isn't in the manual anyway.

The ES is also FWD, so thats a big DISLIKE. lol

The better comparison is with the Hyundai Azera. Thats comparing apples to apples.
