  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

GV60 Canadian Deposit - Local Dealer Information & Timelines

Just spoke with my sales rep (Montreal) who confirmed that my VIN has been assigned and is scheduled for production this month. I was approx 240 on the pre-order list.

He mentioned delivery takes about 6 weeks so factoring in end of month build + 10 days for misc transport + 6 weeks shipping would be looking at a mid to late June delivery.

He also speculated that the goal for advanced trim pricing was around 67k- but that USA is still undecided and thus holding things up for Canada.

nice! when did you place order?

My big concern about this car is that it will sit too low and it looks pretty short next to whatever that is beside it. I have seen the specs and videos, but I won't be able to tell until I am in it. Used to an SUV.
I’m just the opposite. I’ve been driving sedans for my last 3 vehicles, and much prefer it. Not sure how much I’ll like sitting up high.

Same here. Much prefer cars - but drove the ioniq 5 and found it to be a pretty reasonable compromise. So I’m willing to give it a go.

The Ioniq 6 sedan is about a year out though ;)

I assume you got an Advanced. What color did you order? I wonder if they’re doing them in color batches.
White with black interior. Kept it simple hoping it would lead to quicker delivery. So far seems to be working out - but until I get confirmation of VIN/production date from Genesis in writing I won’t hold my breath.

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
I wonder how the preorder ranking works. It's strange that I ordered on the 23rd of Feb and yet I'm around 210.

I’m not sure how that could be possible LOL. If genesis’s process is anything like the Ioniq 5’s we will eventually get an official email confirming our actual number and estimated (or confirmed) production date.

Did you order performance? They each have their own queue

I ordered on March 14 and I am at rank 378.
Advanced Black on Black.

Can’t wait to see the car in real life and know the price.

I am really hoping that my Genesis dealership is just spitting out random information because I spoke to the sales manager over there, and he mentioned a ballpark price of mid 70k for the advanced! And just earlier today another dealership mentioned just under 70k. He said they're going to price it as a direct competitor to model Y based on those unique features offered by the gv60 to help back the price up.

I hope the gv60 won't be as disappointed to the ioniq 5.
I went into the hyundai, and saw an base ioniq 5. Damn, cheap plastic everywhere and the car is very flat bottom and long. It's very strange feeling sitting low but car hangs super long.
From GV60 view, it looks more promising. Because it is suppose to be a more dynamic right?
THe wheel base is the shortest. Overhang are shorter as well.

Thats why the Ev6 is out for me , i feel my G70 is a tad too long as it is , the Gv60 is actually a few inches shorter than the g70

my other car is an 2017 XC90, its a very long car, but becasue I sit high up, I don't feel that as if I drive a big car, but man, that ioniq dissapoint me.
But also, i am little worry, that my right knee won't have any support driving long trip, since GV60 doesn't have the middle tunnel.
I think i am used to the knee driving when i goes a bit fast on curve. I test drove the i4 m50, its also a very quick machine, but it's a small car!!!

I hope so. I have a G70 now and love how low it is. If they offereya G70 EV, I would buy right away!
Yeah, was at the dealership talking to our salesman & he gave us a GV70 so my wife could get the feel of the Genesis build. I almost bought that on the spot, my wife thought it was electric as it was so quiet inside 😄

Oh yeah , i forgot about the knee rest , i use the tunnel to rest my knee as well , i wonder if the center console stretches out enough

I’m not sure that manual doesn’t apply to Canada. You will find ”Canada” in several places within, and even some French.
I looked through the entire document today. I think NLJ was right to think it was for the US only. The mentions of Canada are regarding things that US drivers may want to know if driving in Canada. There are a few spots where it refers to state rules, with no mention of provinces.
I’ve got my fingers crossed that the Canada manual will include info in IFLS.
