Did they actually show you a screenshot of any kind?
Cause I doubt that's true. I pre-ordered 2 weeks after you and a week and a half ago I was told there are more than 1,300 pre-orders already!

I was a few days later than March 23 and I was told there were 525 already ordered. They also said 600 were coming in 2022, so I shouldn't wait. I trust none of this.

That's a good question... I doubt I am 263 at the dealership if there are 1000+ pre-orders. It would mean he has more than 25% of them. I will ask all these questions again and seek more detailed answers once I get to the test drive, hopefully next month.

As for the rest, we (including myself) are all speculating and, at the end, it is Genesis who knows exactly how many cars they will produce and for which market. The only thing we can do is talk with our wallets and walk away if we are not comfortable with the price and/or market conditions.

Excellent choice on the colour. I've got a G70 in saville silver and it almost looks matte yet metallic. Really brings out the curves too.

It seems to be the norm lately that when new vehicles are released, the higher trim levels are available first. Makes sense - if they are able to fill only some of the demand, why not sell the most profitable vehicles first.

Thanks! If those are the only ones that have arrived, they will make a very small dent in the queue. It looks like only ~20 vehicles. I hope another shipment is on its way soon.

Okay just a bit of news that is "confirmed" and was part of a Genesis conference from a few days ago. Disclaimer: I myself am taking this information with a grain of a salt as a friend of mine has a family who works at the Hyundai Head Office.

Here is what he was told. The RWD option isn't confirmed, and Genesis will be leaning towards the Audi Q4 e-tron pricing formula of having an essentially barebones "Advanced" GV60 to be priced under $60k (59,999) and having a package add-on of 5k-8k on top for the advanced. He said this is the most popular option discussed.

Again, I lean towards not having much expectation.
