  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

GV70 Daily Picture Thread

Wow, where is this? Let me know how the stock tire do...that is my plan for this winter!
Michigan's UP. They're awful as far as I'm concerned. I'm really hoping my spacers actually come tomorrow like they're supposed to because I am definitely not comfortable on the primacy tires. Maybe they're better on the smaller wheels with more side wall.

Stocks do a fine job imo. I'm in Michigan and we are getting snow now. We have thick slush and heavy snow currently.

This suprises me tbh. I tried breaking the tires loose on the wet pavement, dirt roads, and today in the snow and it accelerated just fine for me. The slush with push you around some but im sure that will happen in about any vehicle.

Yeah idk, we have heavy wet snow. I nearly wasn't able to move from the spot in the picture, I had to rock forward to get moving backwards, and when I was on the road if I wasn't super precise with the throttle I would start sliding out. Maybe this type of snow just coats the tires

What drive mode were you in?

Interesting. I stayed in comfort mode the whole time. I had my front grill filled with thick slush snow but other than that my experience was good. I will update my findings when we get some worse weather. Maybe I need less slush and more snow mixed in. Everything that hit us this morning already melted!

Yeah I think we're a little mixed up here, I'm not talking about slush, I had at least foot of snow on the road my whole 20 mile commute lol, the picture I posted is like a foot and a half.

Well she's dirty and I already put this picture in the winter tires thread, but it's a daily picture thread, right?

König Oversteers and Nokian Hakkapeliitta R3 SUVs are on! Big sad R speed rating until spring, though.

the body mods look fantastic - really nicely done. The chrome delete on the roof rails...is that gloss black or satin? I've gone gloss for all the other deletes since they're adjacent to other factory black that was gloss but am unsure on roof rails. leaning gloss but would appreciate an opinion. thank you!

I'm located in the States so with the 3.5 Sports Prestige the chrome is replaced with black gloss or black chrome at the factory. The roof rails are black gloss from the factory. I replaced all the chrome emblems with either carbon fiber or black gloss. the only chrome left that I have not dealt with yet is the dual exhaust tips. I plan on painting the chrome with black gloss sometime.

perfect, thanks for the reply - much appreciated. Looks great btw!

This makes me more anxious for my Saville silver on order…..! Been waiting 3 months and dealer said it’s up next??? Whatever that means but gave a 6 to 8 week time frame. I’ve been checking available stock in various parts of the US and there are so few Saville Silvers on lots or in transit.

I was pretty sure I wanted the Saville Silver when I ordered it. But then I kept having second thoughts about the Himalayan Gray. My last trip to the dealership prior to delivery a salesperson (that I wasn't working with) said he owned a Saville Silver with red interior and I was welcome to look at it and drive it. The moment I saw it in person I knew I had made the correct choice. Pictures do not do the Saville Silver justice, you will love it!
