  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Gv70 Show off your Mods to date.....

About to place my pre-order for my next mod. A slight price discount was offered for the pre-order which finalized my decision. Springs are supposed to ship mid-November. I'm being told they will drop the front 1.5" and drop the rear about 1.7". With any luck they can be installed just in time for the first major snow storm, causing me to second guess all my major life decisions including that to lower my vehicle just before winter. :ROFLMAO: :oops:

I was looking at them the other day, but I don't want to be a genuine pig, lol
If you install them, I'll drive to CR, IA to see them in 2 months. I shoot Bald Eagles in that area every year December/January.

I sure hope you mean with a camera.

:D Yeah, I'm a Nikon shooter! ;)
Nice! I actually have family around CR.

I don't usually try to invite outsiders to my region, but can make an exception for a fellow Genesis owner, if you haven't been to Michigan's UP, you need to, and not just Pictured Rocks.

As far as baldies go I see at least one a week, last week the same baldy was on the same corner all day for 3 days in a row. (thought it was nested there but then my colleague saw a rib cage hanging out of the bushes lmao)

Well they aren't to date yet, but I've got Mud guards, rain guards, tuxmats (no cargo in stock 😫), and my JB4 all ordered. Gonna debate on QTP cutouts and lowering over the winter, and most likely gonna put the Adro kit minus spoiler on in the spring. Also thinking about carbon front wings and black letters on the back but dang they ain't cheap like my wrx emblems were lol. Kinda want the arm rest cover too but idk if it's worth it when the arm rest is already pretty damn good.

I just got the OE ones, I've seen people saying they're tiny and don't do much but I figure I'll try them.

Get the bigger ones the OEM is way to tiny and does absolutely nothing with functionality at all

Not sure if you've ever been up by Dubuque, but they have a ton of bald eagle nests long the river. We have one of two bad eagles that fly over our neighborhood and usually are since in the fields once harvested while they pic apart some prey. I know your home area fairly well and I'm out there in the summers while golfing. Have several friends in the Naperville, Elgin, and Tinley Park areas. And if I ever need to go into the closet company office, that is in Oakbrook.

No, I haven't been there. We were getting a lot of action around Iowa City/Coralville last year and that's where I plan to go this "season". So, if you get the springs installed, I wouldn't mind seeing them in person. I've had my '15 Genesis 5.0 lowered on Ark's GT-F springs and the car looked great with ~.75 inch drop all around.

I would like to but the eBay seller linked in this thread costs over $200 Canadian to ship them here - not paying that for mud guards!

Damn I definitely do no blame you because I believe I paid $147 shipped . To the states

Well got my mudguards and rain guards installed, looks pretty slick, no pics though because she's dirty, in a garage, and lacking a rear window. Just gotta get my jb4 and tuxmats in tomorrow or Saturday and we'll be all set till spring except for possible interior treats.

Got all my stuff on. I do think I'm gonna go ahead and buy the carbon fiber steering wheel and gear selector trim, but otherwise she's done till spring lowering and ground effects season.

I cannot get my JB4 to connect to my (or my dad's) laptop for the life of me, but it is working and if the 0-60 app I was using was at all accurate it shaved at least a solid half second off. Terry thinks it's either the cable or I static shocked the jb4, which is about as much as I can figure as well. I was told I can send the cable in for testing but of course have to pay postage so I'm probably just going to go as is.

Pulled her out to take a dirty pic, pretty subtle but I think the rain and mud guards add a lot to the look.

Gotta point out the crappy black truck next to it that I get to drive until my rear windshield can be replaced, as well as my brother's Charger across the street that he thinks is faster lmao.

Tuxmats! Love em!
