GV80 Error - Lighting System

Just hit a year with my GV80 and I love it - but I don't love what's happening to it now. A month ago, I had an error pop up and it went away so fast i couldn't read it - I then pulled into my driveway and a message came on that said 'draining battery'. It was then deader than dead. Zero power. Couldn't put it in Neutral to have it towed - needed a flat bed. Was there for 10 days and they replaced both front lighting units -$5K - glad I bought the extended warranty. Drove it for a week or two when I was coming down a street with no lights, i turned my brights on - 2 seconds later, the brights go off and the error
'Check Intellilgent Front - Lighting System (IFS). Took it in again - they said something about cleaning corrosion off of something because the last repair there was water left somewhere. That evening, I turn the brights on - you guessed it - brights went off and same error appeared. I am taking it back on Saturday. Anyone else? LOL

That is a truly bizarre issue. I'd ask the dealer to replace the vehicle battery first before anything else. A faulty battery can cause all sorts of electrical issues that could at first glance seem unrelated.

If that doesn't solve it, I'd be trading that vehicle in ASAP.
