  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Nothing on that website for a G90. :-(

Wish they had just the wings for the GV80. Seems only available for the G80.

I hope the manufacturer makes them - but I have not heard anything yet...

The wings are now available for the GV80 - and they're quite a bit nicer...

mine just came yesterday and im gonna try to install later today. seems simple enough even though the instructions are in Korean

It’s very easy! Looks great too! You will be pleased.
Just take care to remove the black insert by pulling it from just behind the back of the door handle. Install the felt on the back of the new plates (it will overlap the raised outline slightly). Insert the new plate with the end toward the front of the vehicle tight against the opening and snap it in carefully behind the handle.

I guess im still confused how to get these to stay on. The back of the badges have like 3 protrude prongs. I havent removed the felt or sticky side bc I dont understand how its supposed to stay on

I have the same issue... I do not understand how to install these and the instructions are in Korean. Is there a video we can watch for step-by-step install?

Alright, I have figured this out..
Step-1: You need a very small flathead screwdriver or tiny knife (which is what I used). Pull the inside door handle back and insert the flat tip into the space between the handle and the black plastic piece (it is shaped like the new inserts you just received), apply a little leverage pressure to the plastic and pop it out!

Step-2: Place the felt on the back of the new plate before inserting.

Step-3: Insert the new plate, pointy part first then the back and apply easy pressure until it snaps in place.

Step-4: Repeat on other doors and you are finished!

Hope this helps everyone!!!

I posted instructions and pics to help out fellow owners. Look for my post.

These look great! Will be my first "mod" to our incoming GV80. Just FYI - use trim removal tools for this kind of work. Less chance of damaging things compared to using a screwdriver or a knife.

Some of us use what we have and they work just fine as long as you are careful;-)

where do you get and what is a trim removal tool? I was planning on using a tiny flat head screw driver tonight to install mine

You can get them on Amazon or just about any auto parts store. They usually come in a set of 4-5 pieces like this:

I realize a screwdriver works, and I myself have done that many times... these just work so much better and reduce the risk of damage.

Installed these today in our 2022 GV80. Literally, first mod completed as the vehicle was delivered this morning!

Trivially easy to install and they're very well done. A great aesthetic upgrade. The sales manager at Genesis loved them, he's going to be recommending these to all of their clients.
