Yes, I did understand what he was getting at. Guys, the other thing that 'could' hurt the GV80 price wise is that it's the end of the model year for the Europeans and they will discount their cars about 10k for the left over 2020's. They will have a mad stock of them and they must move them as soon as things open up. Jag is already trying to offer me their new refreshed 21's at a 'large' discount. They don't know what Jag is going to offer, but they always offer 10% off last year models. I told them if they offer 10% off the 21 model then we can start talking.
Guys, it's doing to be a Wild West to get rid of cars in stock once it opens up. It may not hurt Genesis, but it could get ugly. None of us know what will happen nor do we know when anything will start to happen. We speculate because we are bored as heck and excited about new car launches. Heck, I even started to think about possibly the new G80 fully tricked out as it's so much less than the GV80, lol. I love the idea of a Genesis if I decide to purchase. The total cost of ownership should be less than most if I keep the car for 5 years or more (although Jag gives 5 years full warranty as well as 5 years of maintenance built into the cost).
BTW, to anyone who doesn't think that folks who can afford anything they want, don't care about price.....you are dead wrong most of the time. Nearly every person I know cares about how much they pay for most anything.
I hear ya... G80 is full of wonderful toys, I might get it just for that!
