I just built one and it's still the $72,375. Hmmm
Oh I think this will light up the forum, and not in a positive way. Considering we started at $65,000 (unofficial) the new price is 14% higher!
Try again, same thing happened to me, second time the 0 paint charge and an uptick on the Prestige pkg.I just built one and it's still the $72,375. Hmmm
Pepper, I saw the new prices also, now the old prices are back. Wonder what it means? Accident? Beta testing slip up? Anyway let’s hope that was next years pricesLooks like Genesis has got the message from this thread and doesn't charge extra for different colors but now changed price of fully loaded 6 cylinder from $72,375 to $73,995.
It will be no higher than mid 80s freight/PDI/admin/5 yr service/5 yr warranty all in. Just add taxes.Oddly enough on the Canadian build site the black interior is available in every color including Cardiff Green. Our warranty is 62,000 miles and 5 years which includes all services and maintenance. This may sound good but I bet we will pay dearly for this, will find out once the official CDN prices are released but I figure it will run around $100,000 CDN for a fully optioned GV80.![]()
I am still seeing the higher prices, I think like Beefer said that until release date we may not have credible numbers or specs to work with.Pepper, I saw the new prices also, now the old prices are back. I don't think CA has more equipment... US has 2nd row power seats package and CA does not.You are probably correct as Genesis Canadian pricing is much cheaper. A fully loaded G80 here goes for 65,000 CDN where as it goes for 80,000 CDN in the US converting from US to CAD.
Using the percentage difference figure above on the known US price of $72,000 for the loaded GV80 would bring the CDN price to around $81,000 CDN however I expect it to have more equipment than the US model plus the longer warranty so I think your mid 80 figure is rather solid.
US version spec sheet mentions power 2nd row seats for the top package with 3.5 engine.I thought they already said that they will only offer a dealer installed one (maybe). Maybe I got that wrong and it was someone asking if they would offer that.

Advanced Plus with 3.5 engine was increased to $1000 more - previously it was $700. Guess they are fine tuning their numbers.
If so, that's really crappy for them to do, When you releases the packages and numbers they need to be correct for the first year. That's a great way to piss off folks. I understand that the 65K number was from magazines based on talks with the Genesis reps, but they were not firm numbers from the company. For them to start changing shows they are not fully ready for release etc...
Do others manufactures do this on new releases? maybe it's standard practice. I haven't followed other new releases like this.

The top trim went up $1,620 to $73,995 from the $72,375 that was on their press release. It certainly is not standard practice to announce pricing and then change it a week later. I surely hope it is a mistake on their website and not that they are changing their minds or made a mistake on their original price release. That definitely wouldn't point to Genesis getting their act together like people hoped they would.
