Just got my V6-Tech pkg Black/Tan Genesis about a week ago, and I absolutely love it. I can't believe the features/driver experience at this price point. I also looked at BMW 5-series and pre-owned Audi A8s and Lexus 430s.

I got mine for $38,000 via CarSolutions ( a buying service, through my Credit Union). The dealer I spoke to would not budge off of the 40k MSRP (and he said they could not get black/tan for sometime due to high demand). Funny thing is, I believe the one CarSolutions found came from the same dealer.

I am very happy with my purchase. Only (minor) gripes are with the IPod interface ( hard to navigate long lists. need an a,b,c,d,e.. -type search like the ipod itself ) and I wish the passenger seat was cooled. Overall.. 2 thumbs up for Hyundai.

Congrats!!! I am in Atlanta as well and have had my Black on Black Genesis since September 3rd and I have yet to see one here in Atlanta. What mods have you done. I did the wings on the front and back, as well as wheel caps. I tinted the windows (35%) and put chrome strips on the side. Not a day goes by when someone doesn't ask me about the Genesis! I can truly say I am in love!! Again, congrats!!
 
I am also in Atlanta and just purchased a V6 with the premium package. Have only had it a few days. So far - mostly very pleased but there do seem to be 1 or 2 possible problems and disappointments. Hopefully, the problems (one of the lumbar support buttons does not seem to work) will be corrected quickly.
 
Congrats on the purchase! Glad you are a happy camper. I'm looking at both the sedan and now the new 2010 coupe.
