Second Generation Has anyone removed fake wood dash?

I seen previous threads talking about putting in overlays. My question is has anyone actually removed the fake wood and installed custom wood panels along the dash and doors? I need to contact local shop that works on interior to get estimate.

Edit - just checked and all 5.0's have real wood, so right you are!

Wow good find nik!+1 I was arguing with my family that it was real wood and they told me off and said it was fake. That makes me feel a little better I still find that ultimates wood trim way more beautiful.

The Ultimate has the same wood trim as yours - no difference other than car-to-car variation as it is a natural product! It's matte finish versus the more typical gloss finished wood - that seems to throw some people off on thinking it's being real wood.

Well all I can say that I have been mind funked*. I guess I'm more of an ivory fan. My dash looks fake to the point where I let people talk me into thinking it was. Anyways I appreciate the heads up before jumping into removing that *fake* wood lol

No sir lol! The fake looks so good it's hard to tell...besides feeling dumb for thinking it's fake is totally understandable(what I tell myself)
