  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I live outside Houston, but spend most of my time in the mammoth city.
I'm completely surprised that I have seen ZERO, NADA, NO, None other Genesis on the highway.
How about in other cities on this board?
Are we the only mad ones out there?

Since I purchased mine in December, I have seen one on the highway here in the Raleigh area and I used to see one in the neighborhood where I live. Although I haven't seen that particular one recently.

I have finally seen one in McLean, VA this morning in Silver with temporary VA tags. That was the very first one I've seen aside from mine in about a month since I've bought mine.

I haven't seen any other ones in the Pittsburgh region except my daughter saw one recently with a nice dent in the side of it. Made her sad.

I live in Houston. I have seen three since September on the road and several more in five dealer lots (Humble Texas dealer had five for sale).

Actually, the Hyundai Genesis is a hoax. It doesn't really exist other than the one car you have, which is actually an Azera with some custom sheet metal stuck on to fool you. Don't you think it is a coincidence that the Azera had some serious suspension problems and now the Genesis does too? Sure, because it is the exact same car with different sheet metal!!!

Also, if you examine your car closely you will notice that the shadows are not quite right and you will notice where they faked the exterior of the car to fool you into thinking it was an upgrade of the Azera to charge you more money. And that pitiful stereo system has no bass, yet they claim it is also installed in the Rolls Royce. Suuure.

Not only that, this website is fake, and every single one of the posts here is a fake in order to fool you into thinking that others have the same car as you, but in fact every post was written by some guy named Sal.

You poor little sucker.

Live in Chicago area and saw a beautiful black Genesis on I-355 around 9am this morning. My co-worker just bought the 3.8 titanium silver. I went to buy one last night but the one the dealer had on the lot (4.6 titanium/tech pkg) was built before Nov. 2008 - when they updated the IIHS safety rating.

I saw one on the road...that's part of what got me thinking about them.

I bought my 4.6 about 6 months ago. So far only seen one other Gen coming out from a shopping mall.

After nearly 10 months of ownership I've only seen one other Genesis on the road and it was just last week! It was similar to mine (Grey 3.8l) and it was driven by a man that looked about 80. :D

I live in Reno, NV but drive to Sacramento, CA quite a bit.

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
I've had mine since Sept, driven nearly 17K miles in it, plus probably another 10K in the family minivan, from Louisiana to Pennsylvania, and I've yet to see another one. My wife says she saw a Cabernet Red at a local fast food restaurant but I think that's the only one either of us have spotted.

I'm sure there are some around. Both local Hyundai dealers said they have sold at least a couple each month since July, and I've seen them turnover on their lots, but just haven't spotted on on the road.

I live in Tampa Florida and I've seen about 7, (1 in Fort Meyers). However, that doesn't bother me. One of the reasons I purchased the Genesis is because everyone didn't have one. It feels good to pull up to a stop light and two CTS owners are looking at my car. Though some have mentioned it's tendancy to blend, it is truly unique.

I live in north AL (Huntville area) and have only seen two -- one of which is owned by one of this forum's moderators!

I live in Beavercreek, OH east of Dayton. I have seen 2 Genesis in 8 months. Both on I-75.

Just came back from a trip out to Phoenix, and then Roswell, before returning to Florida.
Other than sitting on a dealer lot, in both cities, I saw NONE on the road. Zero.
Does not bother me though because I also did not see any Continentals like our second car.

Around Mount Dora, and Lake County Florida, I've seen four or five. One woman who lives here and has a shop downtown has one, plus I've seen a few more, including the one that had replaced the "Flying H" on the trunk with the "Winged Genesis".
