  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Have you seen any/many Genesis on the streets?

Was behind a Genny and I pulled next to it at the light and rolled down my window - said "Hey you have my car" - turned out it was a dealer car and the guy said I work for xxx - come see me.

Was at the dealership today and their was a owner-gm driven Genny -0 badged out (4.6) - so maybe that was the car I saw at 12 AM in the morning on Greenway and Tatum, Phoenix, AZ.

And saw a lovely gold Genny the other day driven by a woman - on Tatum - going down to Shea Blvd - scottsdale. Did flash my lights 3x to let he kknow what a great car she has.:)

I am starting not to feel like i am the only one out here in Philly with a Genesis. I have seen a twin of my black V8 on the highway on I95 a couple of times. I even videoed it with my Blackberry. I have seen one inthe parking lot across from my home and another at a business in an industrial area beneeth I95. They are starting to pop up all around me now. What a compliment to our likings...:welcome:

Have been driving my 4.6 for two weeks without a sighting in central NJ. Today I noticed two, grey 3.8 and black 3.8, both with limited markings. I think the plain front is too generic. The badge on the front truly defines!

Even in a city like New York, I have seen only a handfull of the Genesis. I still get all the questions and comments at the pump or car wash. I guess they havent sold that many.

Coming out of Dallas this morning, I was crusing at my usual speed limit + 5 (when on urban roads) when a black Tau with wings on the trunk went past me like I was sitting still. I first saw the grille in the mirror for a second and he was past me and gone.

Damn good looking car on the road.

I am about to become the owner of a Genesis sedan this week. I have seen a couple of Genesis sedans here in Ottawa (Ontario, Canada) on the streets.

Wife and I Just finished a week of driving on vacation - from Atlanta to Baltimore to Cape May, NJ and back to ATL (13.5 hours) Sunday 9/27. Did not see a single one the whole trip - amazing.

And I will add the car cruises the Interstates like a dream - 80-85 at 2.0-2.2 RPM, XM radio blasting, hugging the turns, just awesome cruise-mobile. Got just under 28 MPG for the trip from NJ to ATL even with a couple accidents/construction delays.

I have seen 2 Genesis coupes on the street. Which is sad, as I thought it was building a lot of momentum there during its launch. However, the highways are slammed with new Camaros, Mustangs, and 370Zs.. :\ The Genesis sedan seems to have faired better, aside from the fact it had a jump start on the coupe, I see a few from time to time.

Still don't see a lot. The Dealer statest that they are delivering a lot of them. It is interesting that all the time I owned my Azara, I rarely saw that many on the road. Now what I have the Genesis and no Azera, I see them regularly.

Seeing at least one daily in Los Angeles area, maybe 2-3 on a good day. Even on trips to other nearby cities (one as far as Denver), I've managed to spot a few, though I do have to say that I see more Genesises in Los Angeles.

I live in Milwaukee wi., in the last year I have seen 3 in Milwaukee,1 in Wyoming and I think I caught a far away glimpse of one in Vero Beach FL.

So here is the coolest thing...I am calling on a customer in PA. I drive my black Genesis V8 up to the door as an Executive is leaving the company for the day. I practically park in front of the door (1st space available) and he admires my car, he says "nice car". We chat a bit and then he tells me that he has a Silver Genesis V8. He bought it on a weekend where he had a Merecedes E Class, a Lexus and the Genesis V8. He had them for the weekend. He left the decision up to his daughter who said, "how could you choose anything other than the Genesis? It's a great car!" With that I shook his hand as he was the first person to validate my decision to buy the Genesis. I love my Genesis!

Saw two new black V6's today on the 710 in LA. I could tell they were different because they had different paper plates.

EDIT: Plus a silver, rebadged V8 in Alhambra that I parked next to at lunch today (Oct. 1)

I was running around Vancouver recently and actually saw three other Gennys!

I have had several people stop me when I'm walking towards my parked car (Rebadged) and ask "Is this a new Aston Martin?" or "Wow! What a beautiful car! Who makes it?"

I have now owned the car for three months and I could not be happier. Best new car experience I have ever had. Period.

I live in California's great central valley and I have seen one other Coupe besides mine since May and one sedan rolling around in my town. That's why I love the Genesis. Not as cliche as the BMW that you see around every corner.

I live in Round Rock, Texas and have had my Red 4.6 with Tech Package for almost 8 months now. I have not seen ANY other Genesis since I bought mine. I think that I'm the only Genesis owner in Round Rock and maybe Austin also.

I have to admit that I don't look for one most of the time, so maybe I just don't know what one looks like except from the inside.

No Genesis seen in Round Rock... I am not sure how large of and area that is. Do you work for Dell?

I'm not sure what the population is but it is a little over 100,000. No, I don't work for Dell, I'm retired. My last employment was for a Washington Beltway Bandit in software.

I work for Dell, Inc. and I have a Genesis V8 here in Philly. It is a spectacular driving vehicle. I have started seeing more and more of them in the local, Philadelphia area.
