  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Have you seen any/many Genesis on the streets?

In my recent travels I spotted my cars twin, a Sterling Blue on an onramp on the opposite side of the freeway, in northern Michigan. Didn't get the chance to wave, honk, or anything. Other than that I saw one Silver Genesis up in the Toronto area. Two Genesis in over 1500 miles, we are definitely a minority, enjoy it while it lasts.

Seeing one almost every other day in Tampa.

Since I last posted on 4/21/09 I have seen 7 genesis on the road. I had a nice chat with a show rep at the Boston Auto Show and asked where are all the Genesis were hiding. They said that a local dealer told them that they do not sell well in the northeast do to rear wheel drive. I DON'T BUY IT! BMW, MB, Lexus seem to sell ok in the northeast. I was also told that the 4.6 cars built from January on will have a HP
increase to 385. They had an Equis on display and said that it woud be avalible July 2010. No price yet but they thought $48,000 to $59,900.

I am on that section of road every day. There is a black V6 at the end of Yomato and a silver V6 nearer to the park. and I'm in there too, Just in case i see you soon i'll say im sorry now, I kind'f fly through there.:D

I live in MA and have yet to see one anywhere....

While driving the 2009 loaner (Black V8) yesterday on I-294 I pulled into the O'Hare Oasis and got gas. A guy at the gas station asked me about the car and we started talking. Another Black Genesis (4.6) pulled up right behind me at the pump, it was the finance manager for a different dealership who also had dealer license plates. We all chatted for a minute or two, but it was cold so the non-Genesis guy got the finance manager's card and everyone left.

I've had my genny since Jul 09 with only a single sighting of a blk/blk 3.6 making a left turn towards me in Germantown, Tn. Memphis may be alittle behind in sales compared to other metro areas...give us time

If the silver V6 has a Panther tag with a FAU Alumni frame, that's me.

I have seen more and more Genesis's on the road in the Philadelphia area.

Had my sedan since Oct 2008 and it was June 2009 before I saw one in Indianapolis. Since then I see the same silver one in South Bend every week. Two weeks ago in Ft. Wayne, I saw three in the course of a half hour.

Saw a white one on a grocery store parking lot the other day. Parked my black one next to it. Milwaukee Wi.

Not counting mine, I have seen exactly 2 in the last 2 years and one was in Little Rock, AR of all places. I think I keep seeing some out there, especially at a distance, but they always turn out to be Lexus, Infinity or BMW when I get closer. I really like having a unique car.

I have seen one other since I got mine. Wow thats more exclusive than a Bently

Okay today I saw another Genesis here in Ottawa. It was white and was on Ogilvie Road waiting to make a left turn into CSIS (one of our spy agencies). Ha! There is something fitting in that. A car that seems to want to appear anonynous (since it has no indication of brand on the front) turning into an establishment that definitely does not want to attract attention.

I must say the white colour makes it looked damned smart! I was not willing to go with either white or black since they both look terrible most of the time in winter due to the accumulation of dirt and salt. This car was clean though.

I saw a black Genesis on Petrovitsky Road in Renton just south of Seattle. I was in my truck going the opposite way. I wanted to turn around and catch up to it, but they may have thought I was a stalker or something. Thats the first on Ive seen in about a month.:D

If that driver is on this forum let me know if you want to hook up and chat about the Genesis... Would love to talk to other owners in the area.

Also if you're in the PNW and want to start a Genesis club let me know.. private email me !

I live in FORT MILL S.C. just outside Charlotte, N.C.In these two areas I see a lot of geneses,am surprised to see so many in Fort Mill area AS WELL, THEY SELL GOOD IN THIS AREA.My wife has a 2010 4.6 genesis and it is a very good car at any price !

I hadn't seen one since we bought ours...but saw one parked in front of a Golf store which was what made me take notice and head to the Hyundai dealership. I couldn't believe I was looking at a Hyundai...incredible...best looking sedan on the lot.

We live in an upscale neighborhood and it more common than not to be parked at a light next to a BMW, Lexus or Mercedes. Funny how many double takes we get when we pull up next to them with this car.

Today I saw my third Genesis here in Ottawa. The first was a black one on Montreal Road heading east from St. Laurent Boulevard. The second was a white one on Ogilvie Road near CSIS. Today I saw a red one again on Ogilvie Road near CSIS. I wonder if the Genesis is standard issue for CSIS employees?;)

Driving west on i-80 in PA this past weekend I drove along with a 3.8 black Genesis with NH plates for about 70 miles....

Yesterday driving on 290 to Chicago saw a Titanium gray 4.6 2009 Genesis with KDM badges. Drove next to them for about 5 miles, we ended up parking in the same parking garage on Monroe street 9th floor. I didn't see the car when going to park but then I saw the guy that looked like the guy driving it. Wasn't sure, and didn't have the energy to start a elevator conversation out of the blue with someone that "might be" driving a Genesis. When I left for the day I checked around the corner and that's when I saw it was his Genesis. It's a nice looking car!
