  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Head light lens protection

I am an old guy (80 yrs old) and I am not familiar with the term "I am bumping this". What does that mean?

Bumping refers to bringing an older thread (usually after diligently searching the forum rather than starting a new *redundant* topic) up to the top of the respective forum it's in by posting in it. Thus utilizing prior posts, knowledge, and accounts on the subject matter to enlighten others on the forum.

By adding a post to the 2.5 year old thread, he has bumped the thread into "Today's Posts" or "New Posts" for additional attention and discussion.

After noticing how "speckled" and peppered the headlights looked in my old Infiniti M45 after 72,000 plus miles, I had my headlights and fog lights done, with Xpel film, at the same time as the Clear Bra protection.

The reason I use the lens protectors is not for lens being cracked. As was mentioned in another post it is for for chipping and also slows the process of the lens turning milky. I have not noticed any noticeable change in the brightness of the headlights on my Cruiser or the other two cars I have had them on in the past. I have another question. Other than the dealer where can I get touch up paint, the car is titanium Gray? I went by Pep Boys yesterday and they have every color of the rainbow. I noticed there touch up paints are very limited for the Hyundai. I live in So. CA
