2015 Genesis Ultimate or Equus Ultimate...need to decide today...

Spent a ton of time at the dealership last night; all things being equal (monetarily), what car would you recommend and why....between the 2015 Genesis Ultimate or Equus Ultimate?

2015 Genesis Ultimate will be a new car, with less than 50 miles on it; but the 2015 Equus Ultimate will be used CPO with 400 miles on it (am told that it was a corporate demo car, purchased by the dealer at an Auction in April 2015).

Thoughts please.

Go for the Equus. It is fantastic. Especially in ultimate trim. My business partner has a 2014 and it is absolutely fantastic to drive.

Thanks all...I did get into a 2015 Genesis Sedan Base v8....could not find an Ultimate v8. Somehow, the v8 drove much more smoothly than the v6....thus the endpoint.

It depends what is more important to you.
I think the Genesis is a great car, with a little more sport in its personality, where the Equus is a primary cruiser, more on the luxury side.
Given the choice between the 2, I'd definitely go with the Equus.

I've had a '14 Genesis R-Spec, I realize the '15 is a different car. The Equus and Genesis are so different. Sporty vs Boat. I needed the extra room of the Equus. Loved the R-Spec, but it's gone...the Equus is here. If I had to do over....same result....more space....not huge amounts. Now the '15 Genesis is a bigger car than the '14. ...but I prefer the Equus. So, I'm not much help. Flip a coin....Heads = Genesis, Tails = Equus.....keep flipping until you get the answer you like.....
