  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Well I have always liked the 2011 4.6 tech pkg better than 2012 0r 2013. It is a matter of personal likes though. The 2011 has chrome inside door handles the new ones do not. the 2011 has chrome around the outside of the windows, the 2012& 2013 has silver, 2011 has a 6 disc dvd changer the 2013 does not, and I prefer the 2011 rear lights. I also prefer the real exhaust pipes on the 2011 and not the fake pipe trim in the bumper on the 2012/2013.

While I'm indifferent when it comes to the grille differences, I think the headlights, lower rocker panels, restyled rear bumper/exhaust outlets, and the revised taillights on the 12-13 are all stylistic upgrades in my opinion. The 2009-2011 was getting a bit tired looking, but by no means outdated.

The 2012-2013 looks more aggressive and "Mercedes" while the 2009-2011, to me, looks more early 2000s Toyota Avalon.

waaaaaaay wrong answer....... nothing like an Avalon!!

I agree 100%
I thought my 2009 looked way better than the 12's. To me, it came down to the rocker panels and rear bumper.
To me, the rocker panels made it look cheaper and more Japanese.
The 2009-2011's looked more German IMO...

The Coupe is the same way. IMHO, the 10-12 is a classic design which will age very well, while the 13 (and I suppose the 14, too) looks like the Veloster design committee got involved. The older design is sleek and exotic, like the nameplate "Genesis" suggests, and yet with the same body panels and platform, the newer one looks cheaper and more like a Kia/Hyundai. I don't know enough about the Sedan to tell the differerence, I'm sorry to say, so more pictures are in order :)

^ Thank goodness the next coupe will look much better if it looks anything like the HND-9 concept.

Yes, it was the 2010 Genny that really caught my interest, I waited just not wanting to miss out on the new detailing and latest tech. features.
Love a car loaded with details. JD Powers have chosen the "13" as a HQ
model, but in my book every Genny owner is a winner!:D
