  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

he has a truck and wants to take my rx8 away from me too...so i might end up having to get a new car and i was looking at the genesis.

i really like the car and hopefully you guys are a good community so i can feel welcome here.

i cant believe he would cheat on me and be so mean.

Sorry to hear about your marital woes, but... :welcome:

I personally have no experience with Mazdas so can't give you a comparison but I'm sure some other member has.

Some of us (me, anyway) senses something a little fishy about this whole thread (if I'm wrong I'll admit it):D

sorry im just going through a lot..after my engine died and i saw FIVE OTHER rx8s at the dealership getting their cars fixed too i started test driving cars. i fell in love with the genesis coupe today at lunch so i came to post here

Sorry about er, your situation, but being an RX-8 owner, this Jalopnik Genesis coupe review should be helpful (also drove RX-8 on same track).

Pitting it against a similarly equipped (but $2,320 more expensive) Mazda RX-8 (provided by Hyundai) around an autocross course, the Hyundai demonstrated a near total aversion to understeer. In comparison, the RX-8's front washed wide under power around the 1st and 2nd gear 90-degree corners, those same corners had us taking advantage of the Coupe's comparatively prodigious mid-range and considerably greater front-wheel grip to slide the rear around. Back on the racetrack an Infiniti G37S — much more expensive, but nevertheless close in spec, it's also a 5-seat RWD coupe with a 300+ HP V6 — was noticeably harder to read, displayed considerably more body roll and had a tendency to enter into near-uncontrollable slides when it wasn't understeering. It was also much slower.

Is the internet - she gets to be whomever she wants to be.

I do notice that in the photo, presumably taken more than a week ago, she isn't wearing a ring. Just because I was curious, I followed the link to the facebook page. The facebook page is real enough, and matches the few details provided in her OP. Of course, anyone could post a link to someone else's facebook page.

For my part, I'll assume she's legit, welcome her to the forum, and be ready to pounce if she slips up and exposes herself as something else.

its like im being imvestegated! lol! but thanks for the welcome

You probably are. There is a saying that you really don't know a person until you divorce them. It was true of me. Sorry about your situation and hope you come out of it without too much damage or baggage. If you are interested in the Coupe, there is a section on this site for them. Good luck.
