  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hidden Settings - Anyone knows more details?

Hi All,

As I was fixing my double lines on rear view camera, I noticed that there are some other configurations in the hidden settings. Would anyone one know what do I gain if I check HUD and advanced cluster?

understood..

my point as stated, was that the options and settings in my 2018 Sport, were vastly different from what was posted above my post.

it's possible that in 2015 these were just place holders in the programming for future features/options/settings, and the features like the HUD operated independent of them, therefore checking or unchecking in your car does nothing.

In my car there is a response, and near as I can tell it is the same response as if I went into the cluster and disabled the HUD from there.

unchecking it in the dealer menu disables the HUD, then in the Cluster settings, the HUD shows disabled. and if I enable it in the cluster, the checkmark comes back in the dealer menu and vice-versa, so the two are tied together in my vehicle, so Hyundai changed something between 2015 and 2018.

Also Parking Assist 0 and 1 are both checked in mine, and unchecking 0 disabled my front sensors, unchecking 1 disabled the rear.
How did you get in to the dealer mode.

Hmm....steering wheel mode? like normal/sport/comfort? would that be possible to set it up from there?

Huh?

This only sets the options for the entertainment system

In my '13 Santa Fe, there was a button to change the steering wheel "feel" - normal/comfort/sport - which would make the steering wheel more "heavy", kinda liked that, especially driving on the highway, but in '17 & '18 now, it's called sport mode (all in one)

Yeah my RCF did that. It’s the one thing I wish the g80 sport has, I think the steering is a bit loose for my taste. I prefer a tighter gear ratio and feel.

Is there a way to get to the hidden settings on the current gen touch screen systems like the G70?

Likely the same way as noted earlier in the thread.

Which is?
The settings mentioned here are for the non touch screen models. There is no icon I can long press in System Info.

No mine is a touch screen with a jog dial. Does the g70 have a jog dial? What does your system info screen look like.
