Home screen freezes up

I have a 2018 with the 9.2 screen.. Had the problem before, but don’t have it now. Not yet anyway.

Ah yes, I forgot. The original problem was related to the SXM Travel Link/Traffic subscription. My complementary subscription expired and I didn't renew it, so that could explain why I don't see the problem now.

Ok, I'm new to this and was following the post. Just purchased a used 2018 G80. Trial 3 month subscription and started having issues day one. Annoying!! Called Sirius to ask for the Traffic Link removal. Service tech sent an update. Asked me to tune to channel 1. Start car shut off for 2 min them restart. Magically it is working perfectly with no issues. At least for 1 day so far. Checked status subscription screen in car and everything shows subscribed. Traffic link works, weather updates, etc... More to come. Not sure what they did.

I am new here, been reading all the posts..... I have a 2015 Genesis Ultimate package. I had XM, and dropped it over 2 years ago. My problem started with screen freeze. On restart it would go away, for a moment, then freeze parts of screen. Has progressively gotten worse......now the ONLY way I can get just the radio on, is to go into reverse, and change the station. I can get NOTHING on the screen now! I have NOT done any updates or SXM input. Seems that Genesis needs to do a software fix........VERY FRUSTRATED!!! And now my driver's seatback will not come forward fully....HELP!

Hey I had the same issue with the Genesis. I just bought mine about 2 weeks ago. I notice when I started the car, the home screen would freeze about 1 or 2 minutes. The back-up camera wont show up when I put the car into reverse. It was frustrating. About a week later, I decided to update to the latest NAV/Software update from Genesis website. Guess what, It has been working perfectly since then. Very smooth with beautiful NAV graphic. I found that since the first owner bought the car, he had never updated the system whatsoever. I have a 2015 model. It's been working fine up until about 2 months ago the screen started freezing up and backup camera would not come on. I don't have XM subscription.
How did you do the NAV/Software update?

I am out of USA, did not even had any sirius subscribtion, it does not work at all here. The screen is stuck on logo and restarts after every 25-30 seconds. Though radio is working but you can not change channels, only volume.

Did you ever figure out how to fix yours? I have the same model had same issue.
