Based on the stock dynos I've seen its making the stock numbers. Hell the 5.0's run low 13 second quarter miles completely stock in a car that weights over 4000lbs.
 
I've never seen dyno results on the 3.8 in the sedan.
If a 425 hp v8 RWD sedan couldn't hit low 13s I'd be really concerned.
It's probably just the transmission that seems to eat a lot of the power or just steal the sportyness.
