How long do you plan on keeping your Genesis?

I have to say I'm normally the type to trade in/sell my cars every 2-3 years for something else, but the Genesis is the first car since my 1997 528i that I've seriously considered holding onto for a while. Plus, it would be nice to pay it off and not have a car payment for a change (especially in this economic climate).

So, simple question, how long do you plan on keeping your Genesis?

Until H lease over and then hopefully suspension optimized plus other upgrades in the Gen. It was wise for H to make the lease short for the beta testers.

When the first Lexus LS400 came out, I was too young, and my folks were too poor, to drive one. But had my folks bought one, I would still drive it today.

I feel the same way with my Genesis. It is as much of a game-changer, and as good of a car. I already own it outright (no payments), so the longer I drive it, the cheaper it gets for me too. I'll part with it only when I am too old to drive, and some car museum offers me a good price.

I do think the Genesis will be the most important car, whether from Hyundai or from anyone else, that I'll ever get to own and drive. That is, until somebody from China does something even better...
