  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

How much did you buy your coupe for?

I thought it would be a good idea to start a thread showing the sales price and dates on Genesis Coupes.

How about we keep it in the following format:

Model, Sticker price, Sales Price, Any incentives that were offered when you purchases, Dealer you purchased from.

Any notes you have

This will give people a good basis of cost and will allow them to approach thier dealers without paying anymore than they have to. This thread will also act as a good database of dealers to contact to get the best deal. (no reason to buy from a local dealer anymore. Just buy from whichever dealer give you the best price.)

For Example:

2010 2.0T Track in Nor. Grey, $26,750; $24,200; $1000 cash back; Huffines Plano TX.

I Got them to threw in a free iPod cable, but they charged me a bullshit $50 "Documentation" fee.

Lets try to keep disscussion to a minimum.. and if you work for a dealer and don't like the thread, please just find your way out of it.

~Cheers~

I don't know how much help this will be, but here's my contribution:

I bought my 3.8 Grand Touring (with mats and iPod cable) on March 10th. Paid sticker and didn't get any incentives. I was concentrating on my trade-in value.

I visited three or four dealers in my state. Since most only had one in stock (if any) at the time, there was no coming off MSRP. My trips did yield an extra $1,000 on my trade, so I was happy.

2010 2.0T Track in Nor. Grey, $26,750; $24,200; $1000 cash back; Huffines Plano TX.

A few question. We need more info to have this thread's posting more brief, IMHO.

I assume you paid $750 destination too, right?

2.0T Track's MSRP is 26750 (plus $750 destination charge).
Invoice is 25400 (+$750 again).

You paid 24200 (+ 750). This would mean $1200 below invoice.
Is this correct ?

$1000 cash back is probably from Hyundai financing . May I ask if you leased or purchased ? If leased, have you paid $595 bank fees ?

Thanks.

$26,500 for the 3.8 Grand Touring Automatic. MSRP $29,000.

Will be picking up this week.

Current offer on the table (won't finalize until the car arrives on Wednesday):

'10 2.0T Track Nord, $27,580 sticker, $26,488 sale price.

* Bought in CANADA

White 2010 Genesis Coupe GT (equivalent to a US spec Track pack, minus rear spoiler)
29750 (delaer knocked 1000 off) + applicable taxes

They didnt have any GT's in stock, only test drove a premium. Car is still on a boat from Korea as I type...grrrr

You can do better

'10 2.0T Track Silverstone $27,625 sticker, $26,000 sale price -$1000 cash back for lease = $25,000

If you're buying you should be able to get it for at least 26,000, if not less.

My post was an example of the format.. not a purchase. My Genesis coupes are not here yet.

I just picked my Base 3.8 today for MSRP. The dealler originally wanted $2950 over but I told him there was no way I was paying over MSRP. I initially didn't even want to pay that but I live in Hawaii and we have limited options; as of today there are only two Genesis Coupe left for sale on the island. So all-in-all I'm pretty happy and they tinted the windows for fee!:D

Granted we have Earthquakes and Fires but I am glad I live in the Los Angeles Area.

I just am in shock when people are happy in other areas- when they say I got the dealer to accept MSRP.

I have at least three LA Dealers willing to sell me the following car:
"Lime Rock Green".

Configured with:

3.8 Track
Automatic Transmission
Carpeted Floor Mats
iPod Cable
Cargo Tray
Wheel Locks

MSRP $31,270 plus $750 Freight= Total MSRP $32,020

For the highest quote is "Actual Dealer Invoice to $300 Under Actual Dealer Invoice"- but I might wait for the "NAV" equipped car to show up.

a guy that I work with just got his genesis coupe for 27,000.00 and msrp was 33,000.00. WOW! he took them straight to the bank on this one. Oh he said that it is a 3.8. We are all suppose to go out to the parking lot and check it out during lunch!! I wish it was mine! LOL

got my 3.8 GT manual with the ipod cable and floor mats for 25,300 before TTL

Well before you speak too fast speed reacer, you might live in a diffrent State than I do. They Are here in Portsmouth Va for 33,000.00 (3.8). Thanks for your input tho.

Well if you go to Hyundai Website and configure a fully optioned and accessorized Genesis Coupe the price "MSRP" is the same whether it
was bought in Portsmouth, VA or here in Los Angeles.

MSRP $32,020.00

It might be $33K but it is probably the added markup that your local dealer is trying to get
