  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

How much did you buy your coupe for?

Is this a good deal?

Hyundai GC 3.8 base auto

MSRP around $28,500

buying it for $25,999

finacing through hyundai 2.9%

thanks, John:)

The cars are so much cheaper in the states compare to here in Canada ..

I just picked it
up
real MSRP for 2010 coupe was around $27,400 + dealer exterial PKG. LOL

Final price was $25.995 + $249.00 for wheel and tire insurance for 5 years.:o

finaced through Hyundai @ 2.9% , paid $249.00 on CC as down payment

$495.00 a month for next 60 month.:D

It was fair deal since the car and color combo/ SILVER is hard to find.

Almost bought a used 370Z with 160 miles on it for $29,500 base AUTO but the color was YELLOW and ride was TOO stiff.

either car was winner but HYUNDAI COUPE fit the pocket book and extra two seats better.

2010 Genesis Coupe 3.8 Track with auto trans, iPod cable, floormats:

Sticker 31,875

Paid 29,800 (I don't pay vehicle sales tax since they are exempt for military in TN).

I have had the vehicle for 2 weeks. Some minor complaints/suggestions that Hyundai could consider changing:
- the rear window gets a weird film on the inside (unknown cause at this time)
- the center console keyholder/outlet cover won't stay shut when the car's interior gets hot
- the bluetooth cell phone audio sucks (but this could be my fault, I'm still looking at the manual to troubleshoot); the incoming audio is very distorted and people can't hear me
- no rear wiper (I miss this from my last vehicle)
- no automatic variable wiper speed (e.g., wiper speed automatically changes with vehicle speed)
- no automatic volume adjustment (Mustang has a feature that changes the volume according to the speed)
- no integrated nav (I know.. this will be out later)

Overall I really like the car, and there are almost no others on the road here (unlike the Mustang, which seems to be nearly ubiquitous).

One last thing: either the factory or the dealer attached a front license plate holder, which requires drilling 2 holes in the front fender. In TN we do not have front plates, so it is somewhat annoying to have an empty plate holder or 2 holes in the front.

$31,200 for my 3.8 auto Track.

Purchased 3.8 base w/automatic

MSRP $27,375
$1000 off MSRP
Waiver the $199.00 dealer fees
Throw in rear spoiler.

I drove 184 miles each way due to local dealers wanting $2,000 over sticker.

There is a bluetooth update software available. Search google "bluetooth software update genesis "

Auto volume adjust is there, you just have to turn it on.

20,500 For my 2010 bathburst black 2.0T base

Is that USD? How do you manage that? According to Edmunds the invoice price is $20,930 and that's without the $750 destination fee with an average sale price ending up at $22,230!

I'm trying to get a 2.0T Premium Auto (want 3.8 GT but it doesn't qualify for government rebate) and am trying to figure out what a good price is to offer :) Invoice appears to be about $25k but who knows if you got your base for $20,500. Anyone?

Yup. Right on both counts. Auto volume is labeled as AVC on the display.
