  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

My 3-month trial period is ending soon. My experience with magazine subscriptions is that near the end of the subscription period or even after it has lapsed, the prices to re-subscribe get better.

What amount of discounts might I expect?

I also would want a full subscription. The trial subscription for my 2015 Genesis Ultimate does not include individual NFL and college sport events. For example, I can get the 49er football and Michigan football/basketball games with my Sirius Sportster portable unit that I've had for many years, but not with the built in Sirius XM radio in the Genesis.

Discounts are normal and deep. Late last year I got the Sirius Select for $25 for 6 months. I then added 3 months early this year for $16. You need to talk to the Retention department who have flexibility to keep you - you need to tell them what you want to pay and may have to take a short term and do it again later for the best price.

Search other auto forums to to to see what people are getting these days.

Is the XM Traffic worth the $4/ month? Anyone know from experience?

Isn't traffic part of the 3 year inclusion as part of Nav system?

My experience with it here in ATL traffic, it is not accurate, there is a delay in reporting traffic delays. Google maps on my iPhone is much more accurate and real time. I also use Waze app on my iPhone. Unfortunately it is a separate device to look at. Wish the Nav traffic on my Genesis display was more real time. I will probably opt out of the traffic option after my trial period ends.

I just renewed 2 radios @$89 for 1 year plus taxes and fees totaling $110.89 for the first radio and $108 for the 2nd one with invoice billing.

I always ask for an invoice too. If they have your CC you will be billed the advertised price with no chance to negotiate a better deal.

The package I have with my Genesis is complimentary 3 years data so the only yearly subscription is for radio. Not a bad deal at all. I think the 3 year offer is standard for the 2015 Genesis.

The posts on this topic indicate a low price of $25 for 6 months. I assume this is for the Sirius Select package. The Select package doesn't include individual college and pro football and basketball games.

Sirius also sells the All-Access package for >$200 per year.

Has anyone gotten a discount on the All Access package?
