  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

How can I get the flying "H" off my horn/airbag?

I've purchased a new "wing" badge, but, don't know how to get the old on off.

Any help?

It goes over the H badge.

There are plenty of threads on this subject. The H is deeply imbedded and if you try and remove it you will damage the area around it, and probably will not succeed anyway. The wing airbag emblem you purchased (an after-market part and not OEM) goes over the H with the attached tape (but usually does not need any additional tape, even if it comes with additional tape). It does stick out a little, but nothing can be done about that unless you purchase the KDM airbag with the real wings as they come on Korean Genesis models.

I know...I have the Wings over the original H

Here is what an install looks like which goes on top of the "H"

For real? Seems like that would be odd looking.

Can anyone verify or deny this, please?

Confirmed, mine covers the H.

OVER THE H ! Fits perfectly, stays forever. :)

At least until the airbag deploys in the case of an accident. At that point it becomes a projectile (which is why the flying H is so deeply embedded).
