Hyundai Genesis 2012 vs 2013 (Tech packages)

I'm looking at purchasing a used Genesis. I have a few 2012 and 2013 options.

Just wondering, if the wear and tear is the exact same between the 2012 and 2013 model, same amount of miles, same features, are they practically 100% like for like?

The difference is roughly $3,500 between similarly equipped 2012/2013 models.

Other than an extra year under warranty, is there anything else I'd be missing by going with the 2012?

V6 or V8?
Some 2012 V8's had an oil problem.

5.0's with build dates before April. 4.6's are OK as were all V8's after March 2012.

The 4.6's were not available in 2013. The OP said the 2012 and 2013 cars being compared are identical.

I believe that's the only noticeable update and I didn't think it was worth any extra $. Oddly enough I noticed the 2013 models had on average double the mileage too, but that was the only difference when I was shopping for one.
