  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Wow, it's a lot heavier than I was hoping. I guess the day of the light, agile, powerful sports car is truly over...unless, of course, you want to spend the money with Lotus. :(

Indeed, those days ARE over.. There are too many federal safety regulations to meet. That, and so many options - all the weight new cars down.. There's going to be an excellent aftermarket for the Hyundai Genesis Coupe. So it'll have more than enough power when all is said and done...

At some point or another, the Genesis Coupe is going to get direct injection - making it even better for fuel economy and quite a bit faster...

just saw this thread, I'm taking notice to the porkiness. Ugh. Wish it was lighter. Hopefully they come out with the lightweight racing version that has been mentioned.

It's mainly all the safety stuff that's weighing cars down nowadays.. And, all the small cars appear to be getting a little bigger..
