  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hyundai's new 2011 Equus official website

If anyone is interested the Equus website has been updated with specs.....59.1 inches of front seat shoulder room and 58" inches of rear seat shoulder room. These are impressive numbers for a luxury car today. The front and rear track is also impressive. The way I feel if you are going to spend some cash for a car I want some heft behind it.

The 4 seat version is going to be called Equus Ultimate.

The Equus looks a lot like a Genesis. Actually, I think I slightly prefer the look of the Genesis over the Equus.

I definitely prefer the Genesis wing badge over the Equus upraised wings, and Genesis is a much prettier name than Equus. I don't care for the front camera sticking out of the Equus center grill strut -- it looks like a pimple.

Interesting, their eEquus web site is in Flash which cannot be seen on my iPad. The same iPad they will give with car.

I've been watching the Equus very little but stay up to date on new stuff about it that hits the web. I still can't imagine that this car will be any less than 65K. I mean, it should be around 55K just because it is a Hyundai and they're trying to break into a whole new market, but the Equus is jam packed with crazy stuff....

....how would Hyundai even make a profit off this thing if they sell it for 55K?

cars are made dirt cheap, they will always profit :p

Unless you coddle rear seat passengers it is hard to justify spending $20,000 more for an Equus than a V8 Gen with TECH.
