  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I sold my Genesis.....

That was the one... Was talking to them about new ultimate. Bought in Evansville. Based on recommendations here and great follow up.. Plus better price. Enough to make a difference.

These are some sad, unfocused pics because it was starting to rain as I left the grocery store. I got 20% tint put on today along with adding the wing badges this evening from my other Genesis. I "redded" out the taillights as well which is a huge cosmetic improvement over stock, imo.

The intake was made from spare parts and leftovers from the V6's 3.5" segments. It really wakes it up. I might eventually get the R2C but this one looks pretty slick for now.

I remember noting how nice that 4.6 was (now yours). Do not remember aftermarket wheels like you have with the pictures. Does that intake really help? Or more for the sound factor?

She is looking good.

Thanks. The wheels are mine. I have two sets at home and I switched them out with my trade in.

I'm actually uncertain about the intake. It certainly sounds better, but on this engine I might be giving up a decent amount of low end grunt for gains (if there are any - can't tell without a dyno) in the mid upper RPM range.

Beautiful car in white, intake looks great too.

I was initially deciding between the 2012 4.6l with 9,000 miles or a fully loaded 2013 3.8l with only 3,000 miles. Both were around the same price. I like having the tech goodies in the car. Wish I had the power of the V8 but flooring the V6 is pretty satisfying as well :)

Enjoy it!

Yea, that is what I hear.. Mixed results or basically sound improvements the only fun benefit.

V6 is a great engine. Remember first time passing 5 cars and a farm truck on two lane. It was a rental. Got me hooked. Bought V8s.

I know zielritter in real life and the pictures don't do the car justice. With the cosmetic mods, especially the aftermarket wheels, this thing looks amazing in white. Although I couldn't see the inside because when we went to the parking lot to see it from the office he forgot the keys haha.
