  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hi Guys,

Can someone tell me where the IAT is located on the V8 Genesis? Or point me to pictures or a manual

Thanks

i took 2 pictures of the iat sensor, but had problem uploaded them yesterday night. i can try my best to describe it. if you standing facing the wind shield, look at the back side of the air duct that just comes out of the air filter housing. a sensor with a couple wires attached should be the iat sensor. i can't verify it, since i read thru the shop manuel and no diagram can be found. only can be seen in the schematic diagram of emission control system. i use that info to estimate its proximate location. the following is the link

Facing the engine, it's just to the left of the belt adjuster pulley. The hams on line shop manual does show a picture of it.

Thanks
