  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Anyone replace or have issue with the the dome interior lights flicker or turning off/on. This happens to all four lights. Sometimes one is on in the front and one is on the back while the other two lights are off. I popped the lens open to see if I could change the light bulb but it doesn't seem as easy to pop out the bulb as other cars. Anyone else with this issue? I am out of warranty so I prefer a simple fix. Also I am only talking about the top dome lights, not the footwell lights, those work fine.

Never seen this on my 2011 or my 2014. Maybe somebody else??

my have done it off and on. Sometimes when I unlock the doors, when the interior lights come on, they flicker. They've never gone off but have flickered several times. I haven't really looked into it yet.

I had the lights all flicker at the same time on my camry.
while the engine was idling, they would be fine for a sec, then make a faint flicker, then go back to normal. They never went completely out though.
Turned out a cell in the battery was the problem.
Once battery was replaced, it has been problem free for 2 years so far.

My 2013 will do that occasionally. Only seems to happen when the front passenger door is opened/closed. And it doesn't do it every time, kinda has a mind of its own. I wish I could replicate it to show the dealer.

My buddy is having a similar issue with his Accord. Poor connections probably

Happened to my Genesis and got the whole dome light replaced. No issues since.

I had this issue when I first got my car and noticed my driver's seatbelt warning light was also randomly flashing on/off. Being an electrical engineer, I knew the seatbelt warning light was most likely just a loose connection at the seat buckle. Sure enough the harness from the seat buckle to the front seat was loose. And while playing around with the harness, I noticed that when I jostled it around...the dome lights would flicker!!! For some reason the grounds must be tied together:confused: So try checking out the front seat wiring harnesses as it was a simple fix.
