Hi I took my 2012 Genesis 3.8 sedan to dealership to look at wiper interval not performing properly. Works at fastest 3 settings (approx 2, 8, and 12 second delays) but the remaining 3 settings are completely random, anywhere from no delay to 30 seconds. The "mechanic" could not find the problem so I sat him in the passenger seat and taught him how to diagnose, then he realized I wasn't making this up. Yay me, I hear you
Anyway, he ordered a new wiper stalk switch. Is it more likely the problem is in the wiper relay in the fuse panel? I don't understand how the selector could present this problem - in essentially a new car. In any case, they've never called me back to tell me the part is in, so I'm just wondering if the cheaper, easier to replace fuse is a better point of entry into the troubleshooting.
