  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Introduction - & in need of help!

Me too. Now, I just need to work up the courage to drive it again. I feel very disouraged.

IF this is any encouragement.. The vast majority of production that has your options and power train have not had your issue. Enjoy the ride, let her give you her all.. Treat her well, give back with your care.. Will be a good partnership for a long time to come..

Yes, that's right, DRS. I have the same car a year earlier, 42k on it now, and have friends with manual models who never have trouble, even racing them.

Like you suspect, Stacy, the demo drivers probably had some fun and the die was cast. Please know these issues even with clutches are very rare, not at all like it seems on internet forums. That it has been fixed means you will likely never have to deal with it again, but please have YOUR dealer (not the secondary dealer) check it out. Take it to the GM & SM there and let them know all about it and let them fully check out the car. They sold it to you, after all.
