Ordered in excess of several Hundred $$$ dollars of items for my genesis coupe on the 16th of July . Money cashed immediately (on the 16th) via pay pal, but a week + later i still do not have any shipping news or estimated time except 5 emails answers ( after i send 5 of them for a shipping or an AWB tracking number ) stating the same things "delivery time posted in the product listing".
Well , I did not see any delivery time posted on any of the items I ordered at the time i did them and I do not know what would delay some steering wheel sticker, badge, and hub cap... I may have understand for my rear diffuser although I did not order the color matching ones.... LOL
So what is the deal Import Shark?
Specifically, your product appears to be priced above what the other company charge, i.e. : diffuser (same one, same pictures by the way is cheaper at a competitor with similar name, same with wheel cap and badging...) So what do we get for the premium? overall I pay a premium in excess of 20% for similar items from other distributors.
No tracking, no link to a shipping status or order status except the paypal receipt....
Just the same emails tune referring me to .." delivery time posted in the product listing".... what really does not give me any idea of shipping date or delivery date...
can someone responsible tell me something or do I have to make a claim and ask my money back..
A very currently very unhappy customer
Your first email was sent on 7/16--the same day you placed the order. This was responded to hours later.
The second email was again sent on the 16th--and again immediately responded to.
Email #3 was sent on 7/17, asking how long it will take for the shipment to arrive. You also indicated that you read the information in the product listing and noted that the items were not out of stock at the time. We answered on the 17th as well, informing you that the estimated delivery times posted in the product listings, which can be used for reference.
The 4th email was sent on 7/19--yet again asking for the tracking information. This was responded to, pointing out a second time that the delivery times were available in the product listings, and also that tracking is provided upon departure.
Another email (#5) was sent on 7/21, acknowledging the information you were provided. It also appears that you just wanted to clarify that everything will depart together. We replied to confirm this, and pointed out that you selected pre-painting for one of the items.
The 6th email came in the next day, where you again acknowledged the information provided. In our reply, we went on to further explain about the demand in the market and the reason for a delivery time in the form of a range.
And in the last email (also the 22nd), you stated that you did not understand what the "product listing" meant, and in regard to the delivery time. This was replied to on the same day, informing you that it is the length of time shown in the product listing where the item was purchased.
After 6 days, we went through 7 emails--all responded to within 12 hours. At this point, you had not indicated any concern for the order and exhibited no agitation for that matter. However, on the 24th, you posted this on no less than 2 different forums. On one, we even went ahead and took a screen shot of what was discussed in multiple emails from the conversation back and forth.
The entire order was shipped on the 25th after the painted item was completed at the paint shop and passed inspection. Everything arrived well within the delivery timeframe that should have been expected. So with that said, what exactly is the reason for being "A very currently very unhappy customer"?
Well I have to admit they are not the best communicating. However after complaining I did receive my items about 12 days after ordering and 12 days after I was charged on my account. No info's from them on shipping but they did arrive.
The rear deflector was ok although the paint on the edge was not finished well as u could see some blue in the black so I repainted it.
I was not happy with the wheel caps. Everyone of them, the caps did not stick on the mounting they were mounted on. I had to re glue every one of them so I would not lose them while driving. Remaining of the parts badges and emblems were ok.
On the contrary, as evidenced above, we communicated quite well with you. At no time did you "complain" to us either. For some reason, you decided to do that on public forums instead of expressing any concerns to us directly. If we really had to explain things yet again, then I guess we could have done so.
