I agree. Used to also own a phaeton (and miss it dearly). Likely because VW has more of a established online following on Vortex - especially in Europe, that's my take at least. Also, the Equus is rather new by comparison. There seems to be allot more traffic in the Genesis forum however, but more production numbers too. Miss my phaeton, but it was beginning to create more problems for me than it was worth, and the technology was beginning to become antiquated, thus my jump to a Equus Ultimate. Personally, I would rather have a new phaeton if I had the choice between the two, but regrettably, only the lucky few in Europe have that option and I can't go back to a decade old car...too many electronic and mechanical quirks, in addition to the replacement parts being ridiculously expensive and you have to wait months to receive them! I was also growing tired of the local VW dealerships lack of attention on the customer service side, in addition to their lack of knowledge on the cars. Thus far the Hyundai parts and service have proved to be a fraction of the cost and headache versus the Audi / VW parts and service. Go figure, but overall worth the swap.
