That would be an interesting ride! I took in an S7 in on trade for someone that got a G80 Sport; I wish it was an RS7 though so I would have an excuse to take it out for a day and burn through a tank of gas!

I used to think that wagons or SUVs coming from companies like Porsche or Aston Martin were insane. Now, not so much. Still not anything a lust after but I can understand the appeal under certain circumstances.

There are at least that many just in the greater Toronto area, so Canada wide I'd maybe guess 20-25?

Good to know; otoh, the downside is that it seems like it may take a while for this boutique/direct sales approach to gain traction.

The Stinger shouldn't still be outselling the G70 when it only comes in V6 flavor at the moment.

Yup! Four versions (3 AWD, 1 RWD manual) and then 2 versions of the 3.3T ...

The rwd surprises me but that enables you to get the manual. Different tactics than the Stinger only providing the 3.3 in CAN.

It seemed a little odd ... had the manual been an option with AWD I might have considered.

As pointed out, yes - starting w/ the '19MY which should boost Stinger sales.

But I'm convinced sales of the turbo-4 Stinger won't really take off until it gets the new 2.5T - which should satisfy those looking for more power (300 HP).

^ what can we expect for a timeframe on the 2.5T? i am considering a 2.0T 6MT G70 but the power is a concern. a 2.5T with the 6MT would likely resolve any issues so that would be ideal.

if we expected the 2.5T to arrive for 2020 i could wait. but then that would only be a 1 year run, so i'd guess more likely the 2021 would see it as a mild mid-cycle refresh. i'm making all this up, so any more educated insight is welcome!
