Just a FYI... with a V6;

A recent drive on the highway... saw an exotic color in my rear view mirror; a new Jaguar XJ (Claret red) sedan.


He remained in my rear view directly behind me at 70 mph.
Was there in the rear view for a few miles.

Was still there at 80 mph.
Was next to me at 90 mph
Still there next to me at 110 mph.
Stopped looking at the speedo when it was nearing 130.

He braked first...


But he was smiling at me when I turned off at my exit.... still looking at my wings.

Handled like a dream under hard acceleration... and some people wonder why the speedo goes higher than 100... LOL.

Me too! I haven't reached the stage of driving 45 in the left lane yet, but my need for speed left the building some time ago. At 68, I don't want to shorten my already short horizon.

Um . . . I'm 70 and I still get a thrill flooring it when I can! As a big Formula 1 fan, when I can wind our my V6 through the gears, I'm in heaven. Of course my executive pilot keeps me in check most of the time.

Ummm...Yeah I'm not exactly used to how smooth the car is or how easily it accelerates!! Got caught doing 86 in a 55!! Still in shock! The last ticket I had prior was at the U of D 20 years ago for doing 31 in a 25 ...hehe!!
