I just had a tire positively shred on my 2018 G80 sport on the interstate, with no road hazard involved. Less than 2,000 miles on the car/tires, and the inside seems to be filled with sticky goop which the roadside service person suggested was fix-a-flat -- I've not even put air in yet.
Dealer is saying they can't pay for the tire and have no idea how it's filled with fix-a-flat.
Hyundai USA is saying they have no idea it'd be filled with goop, and that maybe Continental Tire will cover it under warranty
Continental tire is saying they only honor warranty claims from retailers and that the dealer would need to make the claim.
Frustrating.
