Will update with pictures after installation is complete, hope it's worth the 650+ dollars
I will eventually I'm broke at the moment the tint and radar detector going to brake the bank. I have seen your jammers I have to look into the price of those beautiesLol, should have gone v1. Both my radar detector and my jammers are hard wired.
It's a good detector, enjoy it.
No way I would go with a V1 over the 360. I wouldn't even switch to it from my Max. Not to say that the V1 is bad but I don't want to jump back 5 years in technology.
Here's a couple things to grab for your Max that work PERFECTLY with the 360 as well!!!

The install with the parts listed takes about 20 minutes and it extremely simple. I can remove mine and take a few pics to show you where it plugs in.
Also, just for reference in testing the the V1 and the Passport Max Gen 1, the Max had less falses and more accurate prediction over a 2 week period of driving a 70 mile trip twice a day. The GPS marking alone to weed out the junk made me stick with the Max over the V1. Again, not saying it is bad by any means but in a side by side test for me, I got much better results with the Max. I should have my 360 in a couple weeks as well. All of the Max line is able to be upgraded via USB. As a dealer at the time, I would sell the Max over a V1 everytime.
The V1's more sensitive but with proper programming can be made just as useful. Also I believe in various tests it did a better job at picking up both radar and laser sooner than the Max. don't let the exterior fool you, its not as if nothing has changed over that time. I don't speed in my daily driving but during road rallies and over long distances I have found the v1 to be very reliable at detecting laser and radar before other detectors, including the passport offerings. my co-driver prefers the max and we typically run them side by side. does it show less false positives? yes. however I am quite okay with the occasional false alert during these events given the more increase in notification time.
both are great detectors and I can see why you chose the max for daily driving, but the V1 is not old or outdated by any means.
What I seen is that its pretty much the max2 with arrowsDefinitely agree there, when running both side by side, I just grew to like the Max better. Can't wait to get the 360 though!
I believe escort Web site offers 150 for trade in max's. Radar roy also gives 10 percent discount so it's around 580 no tax and also has a radar trade in programThe install with the parts listed takes about 20 minutes and it extremely simple. It's big but not that huge. I don't have mine hardwired yet so I just take it off and on. When it comes to pigs they can kiss my ass since it's legal. How do you guys deal with having that huge box strapped to your rear view mirror? Do you take it off every time you park to avoid theft? Does it make an officer scowl when he sees it?
I have a SRX system I've hung onto for years and it's never let me down. I've been meaning to upgrade, but the only reason to do so is to get GPS lockouts. Escort doesn't seem to be making any more stealth packages. But I love that I can be completely stealth. The 360 definitely interests me, especially the phone app, but I think I would feel like I'm back in 1993 if I had one hanging off my rear view.
